West Australia, 1978 -> San Francisco, 2014 -> New Zealand, 2018? #matesforlife #tbt Family values...sacrificing style and organization for your children's obsessions One of my besties became a grandma this week 😊 Just in time for #tbt...a postcard I sent to Caroline from Kuala Lumpur in December, 1978. We had just left Western Australia for the last time and were headed back to Pittsburgh via K.L., Manila and Honolulu. Two observations: my disdain for hot, humid air goes way back, and my handwriting has been on the decline ever since. Also, for you sensitive types, keep in mind that my comment about K.L. was from the perspective of a 10 year old. I'd love to return one day. What a difference a day makes. We preferred day one.
